About Northampton School of Rhythmic Gymnastics

Northampton School of Rhythmic Gymnastics was established by
Sophie Tanswell in 2020. It is fully registered with British Gymnastics and all
sessions are ran by fully qualified coaches, all of whom are all DBS checked.

The school is based within Caroline Chisholm School sports
hall of which is a large facility in which children can enjoy learning the
sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics.

We offer rhythmic gymnastics classes for girls aged 4+ of
all abilities. Our aim is to provide every child that attends our club the
opportunity to enjoy and succeed in the sport in whichever way they desire,
whether this be through display or competition work and we hope that all of our
gymnasts can share the same passion for the sport that we do.

Prices start at £6 per hour session for recreational gymnasts.

About Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic gymnastics is an incredible sport that encompasses
beauty, elegance and grace, as well as strength, control and apparatus
handling. From a young age gymnasts will be able to improve their flexibility
whilst learning to control their bodies and master handling all 5 apparatus:
ribbon, hoop, clubs, ball and rope. Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that can be
performed individually or as part of a group, teaching children how to work
hard to reach their goals and work with other people effectively. At
Northampton School of Rhythmic Gymnastics we believe that rhythmic gymnastics
training can not only develop children physically and give them impressive new physical
skills, it can also develop them as a person and teach them to be more
resilient, determined and hard working.
