Sharon
Sharon Tanswell is an assistant coach at Northampton School
of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Sharon trained as an artistic gymnast for many years
and later gained her artistic gymnastics coaching qualification. She went on to
coach artistic gymnastics for 15 years before turning her hand to rhythmic
gymnastics.
Sharon discovered her love for rhythmic gymnastics through
her three daughters who all participated in the sport from a young age. With
her extensive knowledge of gymnastics paired with her experience of managing
nurseries, Sharon decided to begin coaching voluntarily at Northampton Rhythmic
Gymnastics club. She coached at this club for over 10 years under Jenny Bott
and played a key role in coaching many high level gymnasts. During this time
Sharon coached both display and competition work, with a special love for
teaching gymnasts new acrobatic skills.
Aimee
Aimee is a level 1 coach and judge. Aimee works with our recreational gymnasts to provide fun sessions during which gymnasts learn body and apparatus skills that are key to rhythmic gymnastics.
